WATCH: Junjun defends VP Binay over debate delays

CEBU CITY, Philippines – Dismissed Makati City Mayor on Sunday evening defended his father, presidential candidate and Vice President Jejomar Erwin “Jojo” Binay Jr. from being tagged as the cause of delay of the second leg of the presidential debate at the University of the Philippines Cebu.
The younger Binay clarified that his father did not violate any rule as he was allowed by TV5 to bring papers during the debate proper in prior meetings. He added that debate moderator, veteran journalist, Luchi Cruz Valdez, also admitted ignorance of to the Commission on Elections rule of "no papers.”
