Not seen on TV: Exchange of presidential bets before debate

MANILA, Philippines —  Tensions rose after the second presidential debate as Liberal Party standard-bearer Mar Roxas questioned Vice President Jejomar Binay's move to bring notes.

According to Commission on Elections rules, personal notes are not allowed during the debate, but Binay insisted that he only had documents and not notes which earned the ire of Roxas.

Feed inside the media room at the University of the Philippines Cebu showed Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, Sen. Grace Poe and Roxas are waiting for Binay to join them on stage.

It took almost an hour before Binay showed up, while his spokesperson Cavite Governor Juanito Victor Remulla explained the incident.

Crew of TV5 eventually turned off the access inside the media room after news organizations, including Philstar.com, tried to show it live on Facebook. Watch the exchange:
